Hi, I’m Steve and I grew up in the Mansfield area. On leaving school I served an apprenticeship as a motor mechanic. One of my colleagues also taught motorcycle riders to pass part 1 and 2 tests. A keen motorcyclist myself I soon joined him, teaching at weekends. I really enjoyed the teaching and I looked into car driving tuition. At only 19 I was 2 years too young. However I carried on teaching motorcyclists and studied to be a car driving instructor. I passed all my car instruction exams first time and became one of the youngest instructors in the country. 20 years later, I can still honestly say I enjoy teaching…. most days! I live with my partner, Christine and we both enjoy scuba diving, especially in The Red Sea. |
